The GDD has formed regional experience exchange groups to carry out its tasks.
Erfa-Groups
In addition to external committees and cross-association work, the GDD also maintains its own working groups, in which experts from a wide range of industries jointly address specific current topics relating to the latest data protection and data security issues. The currently 34 experience exchange groups (Erfa groups), which are spread throughout Germany and contribute significantly to a transparent exchange on current data protection and data security issues, play a key role in achieving the goals set by the association. Within the GDD community, the work of the participants is additionally supported. The leaders of the Erfa circles are in regular contact with the board and the office in order to continuously optimize the decentralized work of the association.
GDDcommunity
The GDDcommunity is a platform for members and interested parties of the GDD. It supports the Erfa circles and their participants in holding meetings and exchanging views on data protection and data security issues.
The platform can be used to create Erfa circle meetings, taking into account available resources (e.g., room size), and to send invitations to members. Members can register electronically for the respective meeting via the platform.
The platform also allows members to receive the latest information on data protection and GDD association activities via a news feed.
If you already had a user account in the old network, please use the “Registration” field at the bottom of the home page, enter the email address from your “old” account, and follow the instructions. Once you have done this, you can use the upper “Login” field the next time you use the GDDcommunity portal. The activated GDD experience circles (new: spaces) and the membership number (if available) will be automatically linked to the old user account. You can also “verify” your account retrospectively in order to use the content for GDD members. You will find the corresponding function on the right-hand side after logging in.
If the verification code is illegible or does not work, please click on it to receive a new verification code.
