The GDD has established 26 groups for the interchange of know-how and experience across Germany. Members of the groups (mostly DPOs) meet regularly and are given the opportunity to discuss specific issues with representatives of data protection authorities. Also, the GDD forms and is represented in various specialized working groups which develop solutions and guidelines for practitioners. - Lobby Work
The GDD promotes practicable and effective data protection. According to that maxim and based on the experience of our members, we express our views vis-à-vis the European Commission, the German government and the supervisory authorities.
