Codes of Conduct
Codes of conduct offer controllers and processors the opportunity to specify the General Data Protection Regulation for certain processing contexts and to submit them to the data protection supervisory authority for approval by means of an abstract prior check. In order to actively contribute to the harmonization of the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation, the GDD is involved in various codes of conduct.
International
In the wake of increasing digitalization, the protection of personal data is no longer limited to national laws, but takes place in an international environment. The GDD provides information on all aspects of international data protection, from the requirements for third-country transfers to developments in data protection worldwide.
